Cairo-Mubasher: The Financial Statements of the eastern company showed, during the nine months ended last March, the company's profits increased by 24.5% year-on-year.
The company explained in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange, today, that it achieved profits of 5.29 billion pounds during the period from July to March 2023, compared to profits of 4.25 billion pounds in the comparative period of the last fiscal year.
The company's revenues increased during the period to EGP 14.6 billion, compared to revenues of EGP 12.78 billion in the comparative period of the last fiscal year, with a growth rate of 14%.
The company indicated in a statement to the stock exchange that it achieved total revenues (including taxes) of EGP 54.827 billion, compared to EGP 51.466 billion in the same period last fiscal year.
The total profit amounted to 6,862 billion pounds compared to 5,723 billion pounds, an increase of 20% over the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The results of "eastern company" revealed that the total profit margin was 47% compared to 45% during the comparison period, net profit after Tax and allowances was 5,290 billion pounds with a growth rate of 24% compared to the same period last fiscal year, and the basic share of profits was 2.22 pounds per share with a growth rate of 26%.
The company achieved a profit of 3.48 billion pounds during the period from July to December 2022, compared to a profit of 2.92 billion pounds in the comparative period of the last fiscal year.
The company's revenues increased during the first half to EGP 9.93 billion, compared to revenues of EGP 8.53 billion in the comparative period of the last fiscal year.
