Mubasher: Philip Morris Egypt has renewed its commitment to cooperate with the Egyptian tax authority to support the Egyptian consumer in the face of any attempt to manipulate the prices of its products and destabilize the Egyptian market and the tobacco industry.
Earlier this year, Philip Morris Egypt added the “QR code” symbol on all its products, which will display the price list of traditional cigarettes and the company's heated tobacco products.
In order to control tobacco prices, Philip Morris Egypt announced the development of communication on the packaging by adding text to encourage consumers to scan the”QR code”. the new packaging has already been launched on the market, starting with all L&M cigarette packages, according to a statement from the company.
